Women Empowerment

  1. To create social awareness to female staff members and girl students in the college about the relevant issues related to women.
  2. To encourage the members to participate in the activities exclusively meant for their development as women.
  3. To organize seminars, workshops for creating general awareness to students, teachers, non-teaching staff for their active and sustained participation in the activities of the Committee.
  4. To promote general well-being of female students & female staff of the institute.
  5. To inculcate social values in them by conducting community service activities.
  6. To organize various types of training programs and create awareness about self-employment & self-defence for the encouragement of self-reliance among women.

Navratri (Garba)

Navaratri is a festival in which God is adored as Mother. It is said that Shiva gave permission to Durga to see her mother for nine days in the year and this festival also remembers this visit. Families make an attempt to return home on these days, and leave on the tenth.

Sports

Sports means all forms of physical activity which, through casual or organised participation, aim at expressing or improving physical fitness and mental wellbeing, forming social relationships or obtaining results in competition at all levels.

Workshop

It is a face-to-face meeting in which a group of participants engage in deep discussion, gain knowledge, discuss ideas, and take part in practical activities on a particular subject in which a group of people share their knowledge or experience.

Yoga

Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath, and mind. It uses physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health. Yoga was developed as a spiritual practice thousands of years ago. Today, most Westerners who do yoga do it for exercise or to reduce stress.

Activities by Nootan Bharati

Nootan Bharati Madana‚ gadh had undertaken the programmes of increasing the income of 15 groups consisting of 153 people living under poverty line by providing them the loan of Rs. 36,50,600/- for the purchase of 145 buffaloes under the Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) scheme in the year 2000 to 2003. These groups have a saving of Rs. 158510/-

In 1997 – 98 N. S. S. activities were started in Nootan Bharti Gram Vidyapeeth. In 2003 – 04 N. S. S. activities were initiated in Nootan Bharti Vidyalaya.

With a view to bringing up the water level of the wells by inserting the flowing water of rain in the underground at the respective place a watershed project had been run at Samadhi Motavas‚ Samadhi Ranajivas‚ Samadhi Nadhanivas of Rs.78‚50‚000 obtained from the rural development agency‚ Banaskantha from 1999-2000 to march-2002.

An assistance of Rs. 1 lac was paid to the talented and economically weak students in 1995 for helping them to get their higher education from Smt. Shantaben Vasantbhai Mehta‚ Mumbai. This amount had been deposited with the bank as a fixed deposit for Smt. Shantaben Vasantbhai Mehta Scholarship fund. And the talented and needy student are paid the scholarships from interest occurred. scholarships are also paid to the girls studying in I.T.I. and std.11 & 12 from Smt. Dharmavatiben Nanalal Shroff Trust Ahmedabad. Besides‚ scholarships are also paid to the students of Nootan Bharati Rural Vidhyapith from Shri Kanubhai Mehta Charitable Trust‚ Mumbai.

The masons were imparted training to construct the earth quake proof buildings in Deodar taluka of Banaskantha district in 2000-2001.

Carpet training programmes was also undertaken for providing employment to the tribal men-women with the assistance of the district industry centre in the year 2001-2002.

With the Assistance of Kapart :-

  • The camps for pure drinking water were organized in 1990-91.
  • A program to build 100 toilets in Aaseda village in 1995 – 96.

Saint Shri Mota was such a great saint with spiritual meditation power that he had a glimpse of the god. after the demise of Gandhiji he had also undertaken a great task of upliftment of the villages of our country as Gandhiji dreamt. the government and the society both are aware of this mission. Saint Shri Mota was the only god-gifted person after whose death his followers could get inspiration from him to uplift the villages. The missions he dreamt are still going on with double spirits even after his demise.

The programme of Birth Centenary celebration of Shri Mota is being celebrated by Hari Ohm Ashram Nadiad. so that young generation in the entire Gujarat can know Revd. Shri Mota. Nootan Bharati organized an exclusive programme of debate‚ essay‚ songs and drawing competitions in the campus of the institution on 19-12-1997 to create awareness amongst the students of secondary schools and college of Banaskantha district with glimpse of Revd. Shri Mota’s life through study of his literature.

Public welfare functions for worship of God :-

The above all the public welfare works undertaken by Nootan Bharati are only due to inspiration from the God. So‚ its administration and economic burden are settled by the grace of God only. It is also said in the Bhagvat Geeta that God helps only those who work selflessly. And we have realized it from close quarters by undertaking above all activities of Nootan Bharati.

How Nootan Bharati freed the Madana village from terror‚ hunger and corruption and illiteracy with bleesings of the God and showed what are the problems created due to villages being ruined and urbanization taking place. What are the problems of this process and how reformation works of villages can be carried out has been narrated in the above mentioned glimpses of the institution’s activities.

Progress made by Nootan Bharati during last 65 year and a lovely campus of Nootan Bharati surrounded by densed tree and greenery memorize us the tradenational culture of the cultural traditions of saints and rishies (Holy persons) of ancient history. You all are cordially invited to visit the place in persona. A synopsis of various activities undertaken by different sections of Nootan Bharati during last 65 years i.e. from 1958-2022 is shown in the report herewith.

Your physical mental and financial co-operation as well as blessings and good wishes have been received by Nootan Bharati for its rural developments works being carried out with blessing of God till today and will continue in the future too. With this prayer I conclude this statement of mine.

Communal Harmony :-

Hindus and muslims are staying together within 20km area from Madana. Communal riots took place between these communities at other places in the country. And its effects are seen everywhere. But in the history of this area since the establishment of this institution in 1958 no untoward incident has been registered because of the efforts of maintaining communal harmony between the two communities made by the institution. The people of the area are the witnesses thereof.

Walk for World Peace :-

By cooperation of ‘Friends of All’ and ‘Nootan Bharati’ the program of ‘Walk for  World Peace’ was organized, and it was held between 19-12-2010 to 21-12-2010. The Walk was conducted through Talepura, Dalwada, Mesar, Katra, Dhummad, Salla, Gadh, Khasa, Salempura, Kumbhasan, Kumbhalmer, Mota, Sundha, Vasani, Samdhi Nadhanivas, Hanumanpura, Samdhi Motawas, Krishnanagar, Dolatpura, Rampura, Samdhi Ranajiwas, Nootan Bharati etc.

By cooperation of ‘Friends of All’ and ‘Nootan Bharati’ the Walk was organized between Dt. 22-7-2019 to Dt. 28-7-2019. The Walk went through Vasni, Khareda, Bhatsan, Saviyana, Manpura, Muna, Manekpura, Khardosan, Aseda, Dharapada, Dhuva, Samdhi Ranajiwas, Samdhi Motawas, Samdhi Nadhaniwas Nootan Bharati etc. under the program of ‘Walk for World Peace’. In this event, the Walkers for World Peace such as Shri Premkumarbhai, Tomoben Kava also took part and other Walkers from England, France, Germany and Japan too.
